Both seas Puglia offer many opportunities for sports lovers holiday, in direct contact with nature. For those who love to explore the sea, charming and mysterious, opportunities obviously not lacking.

The crystal clear waters of the Tremiti islands offer beautiful scenery, lively coves, caves and seabed, everything in color with a dense and populated by many fish species vegetation. Santa Maria di Leuca, between the Ionian and Adriatic Seas, is another destination not to be missed. The seabed in places reaches 90 meters deep and living species that colonize this part of the sea create a fascinating interplay of colors. Those, however, prefer to have fun above the water level, can choose from the many lakes for windsurfing and kitesurfing, in any season.

But Puglia are not confined to beach resorts.

To discover the wonders that nature has generously granted to them or enter their history and traditions in different ways, the bike can be the perfect way. No need to be an experienced cyclist to decide to take a journey on two wheels, you just have to want to live an alternative experience. The routes are many and varied: the heart of nature, you will traverse the trails of the Park of Gargano and the Murgia and enter history by discovering the many testimonies which recall the past of this territory. You can venture into the backcountry to the discovery of a way of life at odds with the frenzies of big cities.
 
Many fiestas and pageants are held throughout the year in all regions of Puglia: the Carnival of Putignano, the Feast of San Nicola (Saint Nicolas) to Bari and Barletta Disfida are the most famous. Captive, Notte della Taranta the (Night of the Tarantula) Melpignano, a festival of Pizzica and tarantella that every year around the end of August, attracts many celebrities and visitors from across Europe, to sing and dance under the moonlight and the rhythms of the drums.
