Exploring towns and villages. The seaside resorts are often crowded in the summer and the island is so rich that it would be a shame to miss its most beautiful cities. Our favorites: Palermo and Baroque palaces, sweet Enna, Piazza Armerina and Taormina Roman, agitated all summer by a very people cultural festival.
Catch a show by Pupi. If you go with children, be sure to include in your program a puppet made of wood, Pupi. You can see a theater of Palermo (theater via Bara, 95).
Where to go?
The islands
The Aeolian Islands are a group of 17 islands north of Sicily, very volcanic land is home the Stromboli only still active volcano of the archipelago. Coves, clear waters and the Lipari are a haven for lovers of Italian charm and relaxation away from the flow of tourists.
Volcanoes do not miss
Etna is the largest volcano in Europe, overlooking the city of Catania and the entire east coast of Sicily.
Cities
Cefalu is a small fishing village that is in a beautiful setting, on the Tyrrhenian coast, about 50 km from Palermo. Touristic resort that lights the night with its many bars and restaurants.
To see
The Arab-Norman cathedral, the fishermen's houses, the beach. A best visited in the morning to enjoy the best light and to avoid the waves of tourists landing.
Water Sports / Diving
Sicily is full of dive sites, but if you do that had to be explored is that of Taormina, on the east side of the island in the north. You will discover beautiful funds !!
