Here is some information that will be useful if you are interested in renting a holiday villa :

Arrival and departure :

The tenant must arrive at the hours mentionned in its voucher. This voucher is sent fews weeks before your arrival, once your final payment has been made. Generally, the possession of accomodation is from 4 PM. Day of departure, you have generally to leave the rental before 10 AM.

Sunbeds or loungers pool :

The accommodation propose (unless stated in the description) generally a number of sunbeds equal to the number of bedrooms to rent. Thus, villas for 6 people with 3 bedrooms have 3 sunbeds, villas for 10 people 5 sunbeds.

Satellite TV :

The words "satellite TV" does not necessarily imply the presence of chains of particular languages. This usually depends on the installation of satellite selected by the owner in each of the locations.

Air conditioning :

The use of air conditioning can be optional or mandatory depending of periods (see details in our description). The presence of air conditioning is mentioned on our descirption, but installation may be total or partial depending on the accomodation concerned.

Protected swimming pool (except in France) :

In France, the tenant should take all precautions for the use of these facilities, especially if the tenants stay with young children for whom they are responsible for supervising. The agency Saona Villas and owners will be released from any liability in case of accident to himself, his family or guests.

In other countries (Spain, Italy, Portugal...): we can inform about a « protected pool », but that does not mean the pool answer to legal standards of safety, since these countries are not subject to any laws or obligation in this regard (unlike France). Also, if your rental has a private pool with "restricted access", it will be a mere additional information and you need to specifically supervise young children who will be under your entire responsibility.

Checking / inventory accomodation at arrival :

There is rarely a checking accomodation or inventory at your arrival on place, but rather an inventory called "contradictory" where it is necessary, within 24 to 48 hours after arrival, that you tell yourself on the receptive if there is something wrong (or a lack) in your rental.

Maintenance :

The maintenance of gardens and pool rentals are most often early in the morning. That is why these people reserve the right to access locations to perform this maintenance work.

Your travel documents/voucher :

Vouchers are all the information and directions you need to arrive on place (details and contact of our receptive on your site, directions...). It is generally sent to the tenant about 3 weeks before the start of the holiday, when all the payment (or balance) of the rental has been registered.
