En savoir plus...
Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean, alone accounts for all the wealth: the food, the landscape, the climate, the ancient remains ... The Greek temples alongside castles, volcanoes, oriental gardens, cathedrals and baroque churches and beaches in bright sunlight.
Sicily has a magnificent natural heritage. Despite its 25,000 square kilometers, the island has a wide variety of landscapes: plains and coastal belts where pines grow, lemon or almond or oak forests of chestnut, hills and high mountains ...
This solar island also has more than a thousand kilometers of coastline with clear water. A paradise for lovers of swimming and diving. But how can we speak of Sicily without mentioning his two still active volcanoes, Stromboli and Mount Etna? Their rise is truly a memorable experience.
If you go with children, they will feel the magic of walking in a history book. If it's love that you plan to travel, Sicily will reserve you a few moments of a rare romance. Sicily is primarily a mixture of cultures and traditions that gives the island its charm and appeal.
More details about Sicily Italy
To do :
Exploring towns and villages. The seaside resorts are often crowded in the summer and the island is so rich that it would be a shame to miss its most beautiful cities. Our favorites: Palermo and Baroque palaces, sweet Enna, Piazza Armerina and Taormina Roman, agitated all summer by a very people cultural festival.
Catch a show by Pupi. If you go with children, be sure to include in your program a puppet made of wood, Pupi. You can see a theater of Palermo (theater via Bara, 95).
